Each answered riddle leads to a tangle of others. Was this what Morgon found to be true, on his own journey? Who is the Star-bearer, and what is his purpose? Where has he gone, lost or hidden somewhere in the world? Astrin firmly believes that he is alive; he asked me if I did not feel the same. I think Astrin would know him better than I, though. What I remember is a boy who held a shell to my ear so I could hear the sea.

The sea...most often I dream of that. Of Ylon, and of the strange, sad harpsong that drew him to its depths. But sometimes I dream that I pass him in the streets -Morgon- and neither of us recognises the other. What is it that he has become: the wind, the earth, death itself? And what is it that stirs my heart, what force inside me wept for Wind Plain and the ancient masters that built it? Are we both destined to change, to morph into something so unrecognisable? What would Duac or Rood see when they look at me? Did my wayward father foresee these things? What will Tristan see if we find her brother? She has all his will, all the stubbornness of that tiny island.

Something in me believes Astrin is right, that Morgon is bound to this world by something far greater than any of us can imagine...and perhaps someday he -Astrin- will forgive us for running off the way we did. There are too many questions that require answers. Two years is long enough - I will no longer wait for Morgon to come out of some mysterious fog and unravel the riddles tangled in my heart.

so. post numero uno. i guess i should start with some info about myself then, so...here goes.
